Did you submit a profile but it’s not on the site anymore?
To keep our database relevant with the ever-evolving Boise music scene, we put expiration dates on all the profiles. The breakdown for expiration dates are as follow:
- Bands: 6 (six) months from the last modification date
- Venues: 1 (one) year from the last modification date
- Resources: 1 (one) year from the last modification date
What this means is that if you haven’t submitted or updated your profile within that expiration period, you’ll be removed from the main database and put in a limbo or purgatory of sorts. We’re currently working on a way to notify profile holders and give them a heads up that they’re about to expire.
Below this brief FAQ is a list of all the profiles that have been orphaned from our database.
Are you looking for something in Boise but can’t find it in the database?
This doesn’t mean that the artist, venue, or resource is inactive in any way. It also means that they could be inactive. Basically, we don’t know because they haven’t updated their information with us within their expiration date.
Don’t consider this a graveyard, but more of an ICU.
My profile is on the orphaned list. How do I get it back on the website?
If your profile doesn’t require any changes, please fill out our Orphan Request Form. If your profile needs some updating, new images, new members, contact information, et al then please resubmit your venue, community resource, or musician profile through our contact forms.
