Cutting Cages is an alternative, indie folk band based out of Boise, Idaho. The band consists of Dylan Olson (Lead vocals, Rhythm guitar), Jeff Titcomb (Lead guitar), and Trevar Gray (Vocals, Saxophone);circa 2012. Over the past year they have been in hiatus working on composing their first EP entitled EXodus. Fresh on the scene the music triage have been making a lot noise that has echoed the attention of different audiences alike. The grungy yet honest composition of their music melding with sweet-chin-harmony’s has made them booked repeatedly at venues in downtown Boise. With the EP release the band’s confidence in the number of original tracks means they are ready to hit the local scene and make an impact! Cutting Cages is a raw, primitive, emotionally driven take on human nature.

Dale Bendixen

Dale Bendixen is a singer/songwriter from Boise, Idaho. He spent many years playing in cover bands from New York to Idaho.
Armed with a guitar and a dream, he is getting ready to release his debut album.

His passion for music, and for songs that ”mean” something clearly stand out in his sincere lyrics. Being influenced by a wide variety of style’s and artist gives him the freedom to explore his musical creativity, and to not be locked into any catagory or genre of music.

Dan Costello

Blending classical, bluegrass, progressive rock, jazz, and folk into one personal style may be difficult, even hazardous, but singer-songwriter and guitarist Dan Costello is up to the challenge. His performance experience ranges from hard rock bands to jazz ensembles to medieval instrumental troupes. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar from Boise State University in 2001, and has since worked in nearly every aspect of the music industry, including over 1000 live performances in the last four years. Recently Dan played guitar for Darius Rucker (former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman) for the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games opening ceremonies. In 2008, he hosted and engineered two episodes of the KBSU radio program “Music From Stanley,” released his first solo album titled “Lessons” (with former bandmates Rob Hill and Scott Lindbloom), placed third in the International Acoustic Music Awards for the Top Male Vocalist category, and recorded guitar, vocals, harmonica, bass, banjo and mandolin on over a dozen 2008 releases from local artists, all while maintaining a 250-show performance schedule for the year. He is an outspoken proponent of local, grass-roots music.

Decoded

Formed in 2012, decoded has already been through 20 members. Indecisive? Maybe.. The garage rock group has also reinvented its sound three times within that span.

Weathering the storm, frontman Derek Jordan and drummer Heather Miller were the only two remaining members when they set out to record the organic rock inspired “Topanga” EP, released on 11/12/13.

Rounding out the lineup, Ian McCulloch (guitar) and Amy Clark (bass) joined decoded in October 2013 and November 2013 respectively.

Since making music a career in 1995, Douglas Cameron has released 11 albums of his music, extensively toured the West year after year, played with all sorts of big name artists, played at premier concert venues, won a nationwide songwriting contest, has had his songs placed in many TV shows, ads and films, and has grown a considerable fan base all while staying fiercely independent. With his own record label behind him, Frogdogrocketship Records, Douglas Cameron calls his own shots, and he likes it that way.
The stories are endless, from being backed by Pam Tillis’ Band for a performance in Nashville, TN, to playing for 10,000 people at Red Rocks Amphitheater outside Denver, CO, to watching his truck blow up on the side of the road in Wyoming, Cameron continues his musical journey while allowing all these events of life to inspire his songs.

Early Melodic Animals

EARLY MELODIC ANIMALS is an indie rock band with a touch of melodic shoegaze from Boise Idaho, started by Singer-Songwriter J.D. Parsons and former lead guitarist Daniel Hudson. In 2010 the Duo moved to the Northwest from the Los Angeles area to focus on songwriting. They isolated themselves in an inexpensive remote part of Central Oregon and saved enough to produce the 9 song debut ”DAY01”. The two then flew back to Los Angeles and hooked up with legendary percussionist Stephen Perkins from ”JANE’S ADDICTION” and Riz Story the former front man of the band ”ANYONE” for Bass and Engineering. ”DAY01” specialized in soaring, heartfelt alt-rock with a slightly serrated edge. In the fall of 2011 E.M.A. Hudson went on to start his own project and Parsons assumed guitar duties on the project. For the 2nd album ”DAY02” Parson’s re-teamed with Story to create synth laden cinematic pop rock journey set to releas e 06.02.12 to record store near you.
